We offer at least one free chaperone for every 10 paying participants. If your school requires more, just let us know and we will adjust the ratio for you.
How does transportation work?
We’ll arrange for comfortable, reliable round-trip transportation via motorcoach, airline or Amtrak. While at your destination, we will also charter a private motorcoach; you will not need to rely on public transportation.
What are the hotel accommodations like?
Our groups stay at luxurious hotels with first-rate amenities.
What meals are provided?
Hot buffet breakfasts are provided at your hotel each morning. Lunches and dinners can also be included upon request.
Are you insured? Does our group need insurance?
Black History Tours is fully insured and carries a Professional Liability Insurance Policy for your protection. Insurance is available for many aspects that necessitate unexpected cancellation of a trip by a group or individual. Please discuss details with your trip specialist.
What extra/hidden costs can we expect?
Our tour packages are complete and include all admissions and taxes.
What if we can't afford your services? Is there anyway to travel for less?
If your school or community is financially challenged, talk to us about off-season travel. It can be very cost effective without compromising the quality of the tour. When you call, see if your destination is offering a ‘seasonal special’. Every detail of your itinerary is carefully planned and fully flexible. Your tour coordinator will work closely with you to plan exciting activities both day and night.

No group is too large or too small. We’ll help you to decide the mode of transportation that’s the most convenient and meets your group’s financial needs.
